O. J. is a graduate of Texas A&M University. He received his legal education from South Texas College of Law. With more than 35 years experience in the title industry, there isn’t a situation O. J. cannot guide you through.

Sam Moak

Sam is also a graduate of Texas A&M University and his legal education is from South Texas College of Law and the University of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Sam spent five years in Oklahoma designing and selling hydraulic systems.

Cathy Moak

Cathy Moak has her B.S. in Education; specialization in Mathematics from Sam Houston State University, M.S. in Educational Administration from Texas A & M University, as well as her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A & M University. Cathy has been with SHLT since January of 2006, following a career as a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at SHSU. Cathy’s scholastic aptitude has made her an excellent student in learning the title business, as well as adaptable to the surprises that each file can bring. After all, no two files are exactly alike!

Matt McCormick

Matt has a B.S. in Agricultural Science from Texas A & M University, as well as a law degree from the University of Kentucky. Matt’s thoughtful, meticulous nature makes him an ideal examiner. His turn around rate for commitments is 3-5 days. We feel fortunate to have such a hard, expedient worker.

Morgan Melde

Morgan Melde is a recent graduate of Sam Houston State University, where she received a BS in Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Counseling, and hopes to work with underprivileged and troubled youths. Morgan’s fine attention to detail and up-beat personality help to create a positive work atmosphere. And she makes the best coffee in the whole office!

Ann has over 20 years experience as an Administrative Assistant with Belton ISD, and a great personality to boot! She is currently working in the field, and has been a member of the SHLT team since June. Ann strives to help the agents in any way possible, be it bringing work to SHLT or acting as an intermediary. Ann is a tremendous asset to our little family.
